As a Senior Analytics Consultant, you will serve as a lead technical architect and project owner within a high-velocity team of expert analysts. This role is designed for a hands-on practitioner who combines deep technical expertise with robust project management skills to drive the end-to-end delivery of complex data solutions. On a daily basis, you will lead the full project lifecycle for our most critical initiatives—managing timelines, prioritizing workstreams, and ensuring the seamless execution of sophisticated data assets. You will leverage SQL for complex query writing, Alteryx for advanced ETL and workflow automation, and Tableau to build interactive, executive-level visualizations from high volumes of pharmacy claims data. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will partner directly with the Pharmacy Financial Performance team and internal/external senior leaders to provide deep-dive consultancy, ensuring our data solutions drive optimal financial outcomes and strategic clarity.Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeand 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree with 4 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR PhDwith 2 years of experiencein health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR 10 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
Understanding, and being highly proficient at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to get meaningful insights.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in computer languages, such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging dashboard leveragingdata visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution.
Experience leading an analytic initiative to success.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring the initiative to life.
Ability to work under pressure and delivery high quality output to senior leadership to decision making within short timeline.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Project Lifecycle Ownership: Experience leading complex analytical initiatives from inception to delivery, including stakeholder management.
- Alteryx Proficiency: Proven experience developing automated ETL workflows to bridge gaps in enterprise data delivery.
- Advanced SQL & Relational Databases: Proven Experience in building complex queries with internal and external data sources for meaningful insights.
- Tableau Visualization & Storytelling: Ability to build dynamic, executive-level dashboards that translate intricate pharmacy data into actionable stories.
- PBM Expertise: Background in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), health plans, or pharmacy economics.
- High-Volume Claims Analysis: Demonstrated experience managing and analyzing large volumes of pharmacy claims data.
- Financial Performance Analytics: Knowledge of medical cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting specific to the pharmacy industry.
This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days work from home.
