Dedicated to empowering whole person health

How we operate is as important as what we do

Our Guiding Principle

Empowering whole person health with compassion and innovation

This guiding principle is what that motivates us. We provide access to quality, cost-effective health care, while supporting the communities we serve. The work we do matters, and we value the contribution of all our employees.

Along with our guiding principle, our work is driven by five core values.

Integrity

Always do the right thing.

Respect

Everyone deserves it. Everyone gets it.

Commitment

We keep our promises.

Excellence

We drive extraordinary results.

Caring

We put our hearts into our work.

Find opportunities by state

We are the largest customer-owned health insurance company in the United States, serving nearly 23 million people nationwide with our diverse portfolio of benefit solutions. It takes a team of compassionate, dedicated and innovative professionals to make this possible. We offer a range of opportunities across our five core states.

Connecting and growing through Business Resource Groups

HCSC has nine Business Resource Groups that provide an accessible and open platform where employees of all backgrounds can safely share experiences, voice concerns, and collaborate on solutions to business challenges. Through targeted programming, BRGs advance inclusion at work and in our communities.

BRGs support career growth and development by organizing internal career fairs, mentorship programs, and upskilling workshops. They promote cultural competency through panel discussions, presentations, and learning sessions. BRGs help strengthen our relationship with local communities by developing volunteer opportunities with local and national organizations. Our BRGs serve as valuable thought partners whose input is essential to understanding our customers and employees.
