We are seeking a skilled Denodo and Hadoop Analyst/Developer to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize enterprise data virtualization solutions using Denodo, while also building scalable Hadoop-based data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and operational data delivery. This role is critical in enabling our organization to deliver trusted, real-time, and governed data products to business partners and downstream applications.

NOTE:This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL, or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.

Required Job Qualifications
* Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.
* Knowledge of application configuration
* Knowledge of Big Data Analytics - HADOOP/ Autonomy /Denodo
* Proactive ownership and a passion for building scalable data solutions.

* Design, develop, and deploy Denodo VDP views, data models, and data services.

* Build and maintain Hadoop ETL/ELT pipelines using Hive, Spark, HDFS, Sqoop, or similar.

* Experience using batch schedulers like Control M

* Optimize distributed data processes for performance and reliability.

* Manage data ingestion from structured, semi structured, and unstructured sources.

* Create reusable data assets for analytics and downstream applications.

* Create and optimize derived views, base views, and custom wrappers.

* Configure data governance, caching, security, and performance tuning within Denodo.

* Integrate Denodo with enterprise systems (RDBMS, REST APIs, cloud data platforms, etc.).

* Support business consumers with metadata, documentation, and troubleshooting.

* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional product environment.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related
*Denodo certification(s):

• Denodo Platform 8.0 Certified Developer or higher.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Python or Scala for data processing.
• Knowledge of data governance, security practices, and MDM concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Compensation: $92,700.00 - $167,500.00
