This position is responsible for overseeing the support of the National Market Sales Division’s needs through driving project development, management and/or leadership of complex and strategic cross-division local projects from inception to completion. This position functions as the unifying area connecting growth partners and serves as an internal point to the various team’s inputs to support sales leaders and national market pursuits of new business, delivering on customer specific and regional selling strategies, and working with partners to gather, organize and apply market insights to inform the sales pipeline and readiness planning. You will be responsible for consultative oversight, solution development and tracking on the implementation and enhancements of strategies, tactics, programs and technology related to national group market net growth, products, benefits and administrative & operational processes. This position interacts with all levels of management & staff, including senior management, as well as keeping executive sponsors updated and engaged.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree and 5 years of experience in health care or financial industry. 
  • Knowledge of health insurance products, trends, business intelligence. 
  • Knowledge of sales channels and sales processes

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Masters Degree in Marketing, Health Care, Finance or Business.
  • Ability to effectively interact with staff/management across multiple departments and levels, including executive leadership
  • Experience supervising project teams/personnel and mentoring.
  • Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
  • Analytical skills and financial acumen to analyze reports.
  • Creativity and innovation, analysis and implementation skills and experience.
  • Experience working with health insurance brokers and/or health insurance consultants.
  • Experience in health insurance group sales and/or marketing.
  • 4 years experience managing projects including leading large cross-functional workgroups through entire project lifecycle and meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical skills and experience including developing reports and planning frameworks.
  • Experience analyzing problems, providing recommendations for improvement, and assisting in solution implementation.
  • Knowledge of state and federal legislation and regulations applicable to health insurance.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
