This position is responsible for daily balancing, government payment requests, account inputs and outputs and preparing associated journal entries and reconciliations. Creating and executing queries to gather report information federal balancing and year end balancing. Identifying and researching discrepancies. Gathering data for audits and other tasks as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Business OR 3 years experience in Accounting.
• 1 year experience in account reconciliation.
• General ledger knowledge.
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• 10-key calculator by touch.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with high degree of accuracy.
• Organizational/detail oriented, proficient planning and analytical abilities.

PREFERED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Accounting
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to be flexible and learn

Please note that this role is HYBRID with an in-office requirement of 3 days a week and NO VISA sponsorship is available for this role.
