This position is responsible for enhancing HR strategy and effectiveness by advising the CHRO and key stakeholders and coordinating communication across HR and the broader organization. This role drives strategic planning, improves operational and financial efficiency, facilitates effective communication, manages high impact projects, and engages with key leaders and stakeholders across the organization. This role translates the strategic vision of the CHRO into actionable plans, aiding the HR division in achieving its goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead work effort on strategic/planning/implementation projects that support CHRO and leaders as needed
  • Align stakeholders on HR and broader people objectives and deliverables and develop workplans to accomplish them.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and synthesize information, generating insights and strategic implications.
  • Frame strategic options and develop recommendations on path forward, grounded in strategic analysis.
  • Collaborate in identifying initiatives, developing roadmaps, and creating and refining business cases.
  • Monitor implementation, assess progress, and flag for leadership where help is needed.
  • Develop / Coordinate presentations, communications, planning materials and other strategy-related documents that are both internally- (e.g., HCSC Board and HRLT materials) and externally impacting as needed   
  • Partner with CHRO and HRLT to set/drive HR strategy, communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
  • Drive the formulation and execution of HR division strategic objectives and ensuring that goals are met across HR
  • Streamlining division processes, managing cross-functional HR teams, and implementing best practices to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive relationship between the HRLT, SLT and other departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication of priorities and objectives.
  • Overseeing high-impact projects, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that arise to ensure timely completion.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external HCSC stakeholders to align efforts and strengthen partnerships.
  • Oversee and manage HR analytics to provide data that ultimately drives effective business outcomes
  • Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.      

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience managing projects and a portfolio of projects

  • 7 years of management/leadership experience

  • 5 years’ experience leading and building successful PMO teams or teams of project/program managers

  • Advanced knowledge and expertise in the areas of project planning, management, execution and monitoring of project risks

  • Ability to influence through expertise, data, experiences, and relationships

  • Executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work within a complex matrix organization structure

  • Requires the ability to handle sensitive information, and to act with discretion and judgment while maintaining confidentiality

  • Knowledge of the external market, competition and regulatory environment to create value for the enterprise

  • Overseeing the annual budget and allocating resources for various projects and operational needs.
  • Translating needs and initiatives into compelling business cases.
  • Conducting cost-benefit analyses to justify investments and ensure ROI.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • 3 years’ Experience in HR

  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and CPI methodologies

  • MBA

Compensation: $161,500.00 - $299,700.00
