This position is responsible for providing operational services, assistance, and program implementation and coordination for one or more day-to-day Medicaid operation functions. The role supports Texas Medicaid contract compliance, regulatory reporting, and special projects, ensuring adherence to state requirements and contractual obligations. This resource is responsible for resolving complex and/or escalated internal or external operational questions and partnering across the organization on the development, testing, and implementation of program policies, business processes, reporting solutions, and system changes. Additionally, this position analyzes and validates operational and reporting data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Medicaid requirements. The ideal candidate will apply strong analytical and advanced reporting skills to evaluate information received from business partners, identify gaps or inconsistencies, perform quality reviews, and recommend improvements to reporting processes and data management practices. Through collaboration and critical thinking, this role helps ensure that reporting deliverables, compliance activities, and operational processes align with state requirements and business objectives.Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Business with 4 years’ experience OR 8 years of experience working in health insurance operations
Experience in project development, implementation and execution skills
Experience interfacing with internal clients, operations personnel
Verbal and written communication skills and ability to represent Medicaid department at committee meetings
Experience with interacting effectively with all levels of internal and external customers
Experience managing multiple projects effectively
Interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
Organizational and leadership skills
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Experience with managing contract provisions
Experience in Project Management
Texas Medicaid experience with demonstrated knowledge of Medicaid operations, programs, or regulatory requirements.
Strong reporting and analytics skills, including advanced Excel and experience developing/reporting data repositories or shared reporting solutions.
Analytical and quality-focused mindset with the ability to validate data, identify gaps or inconsistencies, ask probing questions, and ensure reporting outputs are accurate and actionable.
Location: Richardson, TX Headquarters
Schedule: This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.
