This position is responsible for analysis related to optimizing reliability / stability objectives for our HCSC Technology Application Reliability Engineering and Support (ARES) team. In addition to operational excellence related to traditional IT Application Maintenance Support (AMS), our operation is instrumental in ensuring optimized uptime for all production applications in our commitment to providing a dependable and stable system for our business users, for our members, and for our various stakeholders. The role of the Reliability Analyst is focused on ensuring Reliability Engineering is supported with data and best practice methodologies to ensure reliability challenges and potential gaps are systematically addressed as a natural course of how we deliver and support systems and applications. The Reliability Analyst will work independently on assigned projects, supporting operational efficiency and process solutions, and will collaborate with management, technical staff and subject matter advisors to understand business needs/issues and develop cost effective resolutions to improve operational efficiency. Coordinate with application developers and system analysts for subject matter expertise as required. Prioritize tickets and incidents across Product lines with vendor and Product Delivery Leads.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Information Technology experience; OR Tech Certification in Computer Science with 4 years Information Technology experience; OR 6 years Information Technology experience 
* Detail-oriented. 
* Data analysis. 
* Oral and written communication skills. 
* Proactively addresses problems and escalates appropriately. 
* Problem solving / analytical thinking. 
* Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts / processes. 

Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. 
* Continuous improvement. 
* Testing methodologies. 
* Proactively addresses problems and escalates appropriately.
