This position will lead divisional short and long-term initiatives related to Commercial and Individual & Family Markets provider network strategy and leverage analytics to drive provider network solutions. This position will support major, complex, and strategic network initiatives from inception to completion. This position will analyze Commercial and ACA network data using internal and external sources to support the prioritization of divisional initiatives and track progress to goals. By developing an understanding of existing network composition and performance, this position will support network optimization and membership retention. This team member will be a subject matter expert, influencing recommended program changes by analyzing and presenting network performance metrics to cross-functional leadership.Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree and 5 years experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development, in health care industry OR consulting OR Master/Professional Degree and 4 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry OR consulting OR 7 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
- Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem solving skills; strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to accept direction and feedback
- Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
- Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
- Experience managing complex corporate projects in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated organization, prioritization, problem solving, communication skills including presentation and group facilitation experience.
- Experience interacting with staff/management across multiple departments at various levels in the organization;
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Presentation and group facilitation experience.
- PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, with strong Excel skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Masters Degree.
- Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
- Experience optimizing provider networks or evaluating provider performance.
- Commercial Fully Insured or Individual & Family Markets experience.
- Strong knowledge of ACA health plan strategy, provider networks, key performance indicators, financial acumen, and benefit design.
- Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Experience solutioning for complex conceptual cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to articulate complex information to external and internal leadership stakeholders in a simple and straightforward manner.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve complex problems with minimal oversight.
- Ability to see and understand the “big picture”.
- Strong desire to be a part of high energy, positive, fast paced, forward thinking, and collaborative team culture.
This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.
