This position is responsible for the overall success and management of a specified product or products. Is the primary business owner and is accountable for the viability and visibility of the assigned product(s). Develop the product management strategies for the assigned product(s) from strategy, execution, and operationalization. Responsible for ongoing product maintenance and evergreening process per product strategy and Line of Business objectives. Partners with senior leaders and subject matters experts throughout the enterprise to ensure an effective overarching product approach is derived tying into consideration multi-discipline design (Healthcare management, Network, Pharmacy, Embedded Ancillary medical and Benefits), pricing and sales strategy, and cross enterprise commitment execution needs. Oversees and ensures that benefit administration, plan design development & configuration, product compliance, product maintenance functions are properly executed in accordance with product strategy. Please note, this is a HYBRID role which requires in-office hours 3 days a week at the respective office location.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor degree in Business or Health Administration and 15 years’ experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR 19 years’ experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting
* 5 years of benefit or product administration experience
* Some background in BCBS Association, external federal and state product regulations, and healthcare benefit management or design
* 7 years management experience.
* Experience with enterprise-wide project coordination, project management, facilitation, presentation, and leadership experience.
* Knowledge of field sales operations and business strategies in the insurance industry.
* Experience with budget management including managing outside consultants.
* Experience leading and mentoring staff.
* Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience with interacting successfully with senior management and staff across multiple departments.
* Organizational skills, including ability to prioritize tasks.
* Creativity and innovation, analysis and implementation skills and experience.
* Business acumen and project/process integration skills.
