This position is responsible for managing health care fraud and internal fraud investigations; managing and training investigators and support staff; establishing and maintaining liaison with health care. Providers and law enforcement; and coordinating anti-fraud activities with other departments at HCSC.Job Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree.
* 5 years law enforcement/investigation experience, including supervision of investigative cases and investigators.
* 1 year of experience in a management/supervisory or leadership capacity.
* Organizational skills, results oriented with demonstrated leadership skills.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree.
- Experience in conducting Medicaid investigations.
- Experience liaising with Texas Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General and/or federal law enforcement (U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG), FBI).
- Experience working within a Health Care Company’s Special Investigations Unit or an Office of Inspector General.
- Experience in conducting complex investigations which lead to corrective actions.
- Proven ability to conduct investigations in a respectful and professional manner.
This position will report into the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
